Arising from this, I will like to appreciate the wisdom and maturity demonstrated by the Akin Omole Group for embracing the Ogundipe-led excos towards the advancement of party interest. I say thank you. With this development, one would have thought the end had come to the crisis within the Ekiti PDP; unfortunately, some external forces have continued to intensify internal rancour and wrangling within the rank and file of the ogundipe-led exco for selfish gains. It should be noted that a lot of crisis had taken place within the PDP on who is to be picked as the flagbearer of the party. Within this time, Ogundipe had been faced with series of threat and challenges, since Fayose is putting up desperate moves against the fairness of Ogundipe to all candidate as an apostle of transparency and openness. We have been reliably informed that the Ogun state-born politician BURUJI KASAMU is behind the crisis of Ekiti PDP, as he is resolute to impose his ally Ayodele Fayose, who in return has agreed to contract-out the Tax/IGR management of Ekiti to him (BURUJI) when elected. Buruji should be told that Ekiti People loved Fayose in 2003 ( even till now) and he was never imposed on us in 2003 when he was popularly elected as the Governor of Ekiti State. If Fayose was to be elected again in Ekiti, it shall voluntarily steam from same Ekiti people, not by any external individual or group of persons, not even by Buruji ( a goddamn primary 6 certificate holder). I wish to whole-heartedly commend Engineer Segun Oni ( omo ekiti ayiye), who dignified himself by keeping low profile with little or no interest in the Governorship race, thereby allowing the neutral and younger ones to step-up in the contest for the Governorship seat. This is honourably appalling, Fayose and Olubolade should equally borrow a leaf of responsibility and decorum from this reasonable, gentle and prudent leader for peace to reign in the party. If I have my way, I shall, with the support of the National leadership of the party disqualify Olubolade and Fayose in the interest of peace and the party. The latest move by Buruji is to ask Fayoses stooge, Lateef Agbaje (Ekiti PDP Org. Sec) to take Ogundipe(Ekiti PDP chairman) to court as the plaintiff and Burujis Lawyer is standing for him. Buruji is resolute to destroy Ekiti PDP because Ogundipe has refused to his puppet. The case has been heard yesterday and adjourned till November 5,2013. My candid advice to the Ogundipe-led excos is to pick the PDP gubernatorial flag-bearer from the South Senatorial District in the interest of fairness and equity.
