Many are set in historic shop houses or homes and hardly feel like hotels at all. A lovely example is Campbell House. Located in old George Town in a three-story corner shop house built in 1903, the hotel and its beautifully decorated rooms recall the town’s past and make for a memorable stay. For something a bit different, Clove Hall is a restored bungalow that provides a quiet escape behind its walls. In the evenings, the garden is the perfect place for a stroll before dinner.
