People frown upon others about calling others Auntie, grandma cousin, etc, when there is no blood line. It isnot about the blood line it is what the heart feels that makes these relationships of name tagging so great. I grew up inSouthern VA the country and called a lot of people Aunt, Uncle, etc. who were not my blood it was the way they cared for me that I tagged them with that name. I learned from my elders about caring for others unconditionally. I watched the way they did things and treated certain people. They were not always nice, but that is when u mature and learn to treat people as u would like to be treated. Some of us preach a good game but do not know how the rules. I sometimes get off tract but thank goodnes I have one great reminder above and little reminders here on Earth. Im just saying?
