Pittsburgh Pirates CF Andrew McCutchen wins the NL MVP award! He won by a landslide grabbing 28 of the 30 first place votes! Interestingly his numbers werent as good as they were last yet but definitely had a ton of value for the Pirates helping them lead the club to the postseason for the first time in over 20 years. Arizona Diamondbacks 1B Paul Goldschmidt finishes in second place receiving no first place votes after the biggest season of his career leading the NL in Home Runs. St. Louis Cardinals C Yadier Molina once again comes up short this time finishing in third while earning 2 first place votes while his teammate 2B Matt Carpenter finishes in fourth, and Atlanta Braves 1B Freddie Freeman finishes in fifth. Overall it was a really good choice. Glad to see him win the award, he deserves it.
