Posted Monday, January 20, 2014 6:33 PM: Sand event again due to low temperatures. This will be a very light, dry, powdery type of snow, which is very easy to plow off and shovel. The forecast is calling for around 1 accumulation before the storm is all done. Plow and sand crews have been out since the snow started to fall. We will be focusing on the 32 main routes, which incorporate the main arterials, main connector streets, Madison Metro Bus Routes and streets around schools and hospitals.
