Psalm 56:3-5 But when I am afraid, I will put my trust in you. I praise God for what He has promised. I trust in God, so why should I be afraid? What can mere mortals do to me? Theyre always twisting what I say; they spend their days plotting to harm me. (Even in the midst of trouble, we can depend on God. People will be used as instruments for the enemy to drive a wedge between us and God, but we must depend on the Lord for help. Not our own emotions or logic, because we too then become victims of the enemy, instruments used to harm one another with words as sharp as daggers, words that can not be taken back once spoken. It may not be a flesh wound, but deeper and more potent. Trust God in the face of opposition and allow him to lead you, not the enemy.)
