RANT: We went down to S.E. Louisiana for a family gathering, during which time we stopped at a Wendy’s for a quick meal. The clerk was pleasant, but had difficulty understanding what we wanted to order. After paying her, she placed some change and the receipt on top of three one dollar bills, and handed it to me as if the paper currency was some kind of serving tray (and coins fell everywhere). These people can’t make change without a computer, and counting out your change is way above their skill level (and probably the skill level of the management, too). While we were waiting for our order, I heard another customer ask her if she had ever been to school. When we received our order, we checked it to discover that there were several items missing. These are the people that are demanding that their wages be doubled.
