Rappers and artist want production for free. And to a certain extent that is ok. If you plan to write something to a track before you buy it, to see how you vibe to it. etc. But what is NOT okay is when you go and put out a tape and profit off of it. We beat creators and producers alike put a lot of time into our craft to get our production to the level wanted by artists rappers , singers and industry. Most of us Serious about our craft have invested, our time & earned money from our jobs .Also what little amount of money that does trickle back in from the serious people who actually invest in their craft as well. Ive already got some good money invested into my home studio. And by the time im done ill have another 8- 10,000 more added to it. Granted I dont need all that to make music I want it and im willing to invest in my success You should be too.
