S. (Psalm 25:12-15) 12 Who, then, are those who fear the Lord? He will instruct them in the ways they should choose. 13 They will spend their days in prosperity, and their descendants will inherit the land. 14 The Lord confides in those who fear him; he makes his covenant known to them. 15 My eyes are ever on the Lord, for only he will release my feet from the snare. O. The Lord will instruct, guide, bless, prosper and keep His covenant with those who fear Him. In turn He makes clear He will NOT do these things for those who NOT fear Him. To fear Him is to understand there are indeed absolutes, there are those things God hates, He will judge us for our sin. (The friendship of the Lord...) You cannot have a real relationship with the Lord on your own terms. Relationship with the Lord begins with the understanding that He is a righteous judge and He will indeed judge as He has promised to do. His love and grace will not impede His promised judgement. A. I am reminded that while God loves me, He will keep His word, to bless and to punish. I am drawn to reflection and inspection, if you will, of my own life. Is there anything that in me that would displease the Lord. P. God cleanse me today from all unrighteousness. Forgive me and keep me from anything that would keep me from your presence. Let me walk confidently by your side today knowing you are with me. Reveal to me today all that you have for me, and not for me only but for my family and for those you have called me to lead. Amen.
