JOB-768598 Description Serco currently has a vacancy for a full time Security Officer to join our team in a prestigious client based city centre location. The main areas of responsibility for this position include (but are not limited to): The use and monitoring of Access, CCTV, Intruder and Fire systems. Effective use of radio and telephone equipment in line with assignment instructions. Effective report writing and issuing of same both daily and as required. Monitoring the movement of equipment and property in line with agreed procedures as outlined in the assignment instructions. Security related customer interaction on a daily basis. Security and Fire check patrols of the premises. General maintenance checks. Emergency procedures as required. Other adhoc duties as required. Skills Requirements Demonstrable experience of a similar Security Officer role preferably within a hotel environment. Valid and in date Static & Door PSA licences. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with fluency in the English language (written & oral). Be flexible and extremely customer focused. Proficient in the use of MS Office applications such as - MS Word & Excel. Be a team player as well as being able to work on their own initiative.
