Since at least 15 years the story "online will kill offline" is the one being told to people not only in Gemany. Or "interactive" will be the new king (I remember former RTL boss Helmut Thoma in some 90s workshop when he said the TV remote is interactivity enough: you can turn the TV on ond off and change loudness. :-) .... Refering to that article I post here, I repeat myself again saying traditional media (and few of their online spin offs) will remain the major player in media in Germany. And refering to another recent study they are - very far ahead of online - still number one when it comes to opinion making. I hope we have one vision for and of a better world, but there will always be a need for different media strategy/storytelling. Example (quote from arcticle): "Thirty-eight percent of respondents in urban Brazil had recently commented on a news story on a social network, as opposed to just seven percent in Japan, eight percent in Germany, and 10 percent in the U.K. The U.S. came in at 21 percent." ...
