So I bought a new sofa from Ashley home Furniture in Gastonia south Carolina and was told it would be delivered Dec 23rd because I stipulated it had to be here by Christmas because I didnt have anything for Christmas. She told me they would call me before then for a delivery time on the next Tuesday. I never got a call so I called and the manager said oh, that is Jan 23rd and you signed it. I said that cant be because we discussed it had to be here before Christmas because I am having company, and we discussed it at length. In other words she lied to make the sale and I am stuck without a sofa and a house without family room furniture. DO NOT BUY FROM ASHLEY. I checked and this is not unusual from other reviews and especially in Gastonia, SC. Please share this as much as possible. If I cancel my order I have to pay 10% for the salespersons commission. I learned you better read everything you sign. I am still calling the better business bureau.
