So, I have spent the last 10 years since I retired from being an ObGyn, to focus on my family, to helping the kids be the most they can be. My focus has been to encourage their wishes where we thought beneficial (really, like Im going to promote video games), and to encourage them where they needed help (often where it wasnt wanted). Currently feeling nothing but resentment for all I did not do for each of them. I know eventually, they will (hopefully) look back with more gratitude, but really not feeling the love from them. This is being a parent to teenagers. Still love them to pieces. Sometimes to really, really small pieces.
