So just a quickie update on a couple of things as I prepare to - TopicsExpress

So just a quickie update on a couple of things as I prepare to wail you with more Accidentals :). Ive gotten several emails about this recently (and questions in comments on posts), and I wanna clear up the confusion about my Indie books versus my NY traditional books and whether or not the Accidentals will continue. Im, just this year, now what some call a hybrid. Very sci-fi-ish, yes? LOL! All it means is I write for NY traditional pub houses AND I self-publish books of my own free will. All of the same things still happen when I self publish as they do in a NY traditional book, like edits (OMG edits!), proofing, copyedits, formatting, covers, the whole nine. The only difference being, Im in charge of ALL of it. Which explains the ginormous bags under my eyes these days. :) The only difference in the books is this: My self-pub wont be in B&N or the brick and mortar stores. You can usually tell a self-pub book just by looking at the publisher under the PRODUCT DETAILS listed on Amazon and the like. My name is listed there. In some cases, with various authors, they make up the name of a publishing house and use it. OMG, lightbulb moment. I should be Tiaras and Boas Publishing or something, huh? LOLLOL! Anyway, for my traditional books, youll find Berkley or Harlequin listed as the pub. An example of one of my Indies is An American Werewolf in Hoboken, which is self-pubbed, not in stores, digital only, in audio, and may be in print when I can figure out and have the time to put them in print. :) All of the Accidentals, including the upcoming Dragon are NY traditional up to this point. But thats going to change this year. Im writing them on my own (EEK!) and the next, Accidentally Aphrodite, will be self-pubbed. Im also doing some Call Girls/Plum Orchard books on my own, too. :) So theyll be digital only for a while, but written with no less love and attention. Nina shall live on for a time, foul mouth and all, as will Marty, and Wanda, and OOPS. And my Southern belles from The Call Girls Series, Dixie, Emmaline, Marybell, and LaDawn, along with Landon, are going to have more adventures, yall! And Ill have total control. Oh. Dear. LOLLOL!
