Stiff Punishment For Everyone Involved In The Dog Fighting Operation In Maryland! 22 persons were taken into custody after a raid at a suspected dog fighting ring. 139 dogs were rescued from the sight in Maryland All the dogs were abused and mistreated. The dogs were forced to wear chains and they were trained to be violent. Dog fighting rings covered in blood and several breeding stands were also found at the premises. The culprits also administrated medical treatment to wounded dogs to avoid suspicion from veterinarians. The suspects had ages ranging from 29 to 76 years old and they all had previous records. They now face charges for dog fighting conspiracy, aggravated cruelty toward animals, abuse and neglect.
