That’s what a 22-year-old #student from Chongqing City, southwestern China’s Sichuan Province decided to do when he booked himself on a train journey to university in Munich, Germany. The 21-day trip cost him approximately RMB 6000 ($978). The 14,000-km #journey from Chongqing to #Munich allowed him a glimpse at 14 cities across 9 countries, and in the process, he became a bit of a social media sensation in #China. “I appreciate his way of traveling; seeing the world by train”, wrote a Sina Weibo user named @Tianyuanpingchangxin, while commenting on the journey. “We will be old if we did not do some crazy things.
