THE LESSON OF JOSHUA "Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law which Moses my servant commanded thee: do not turn, neither to the right nor to the left, to be successful wherever floors. " (Joshua 1:7). The mission received that Joshua was not the easiest. First would be the replacement for his master, and as a disciple could not fail. And his teacher was none other than one of the greatest men who ever trod this earth: "He was the man Moses was very meek, above all the men which were upon the earth." (Numbers 12:3). As with every true man of God treated by the Holy Spirit, the character of Moses was very respected, and Joshua would replace him. Then have the tough task of leading his people to the Promised Land complainer, defeat enemies (giants who lived there) and give tenure to all Jews. The promise of God was given to Joshua who had great responsibility. This principle is fundamental and central to all spiritual effort and endeavor, ie, deep understanding and application of Scripture at all times. Joshua could not under any circumstances, attempt to perform its mission "giving a Brazilian way" ("do not turn, do not do things in their own way"), but obedience had to be complete. It would have to be brave and strong to do as God commanded. And it is not easy! Today God speaks to you: the lesson of Joshua is that you may face many giants ahead, but if you always act in obedience to the Word of God, and for that you have to be strong (do not give in to temptation, as a "weak flesh ") and courageous (not cower when the giants appear), because God is with you and you will be successful in whatever walk. Do not do the things of God anyway, scandals, bad bad example and testimony. The Church of the Lord in all nations need godly men and women of God whose character is respected and known by the fear of God, and not known as "mercenaries mercadejam the Word of God, preaching a theology of prosperity, that only does borrow from others to get rich and scandalized the Gospel of Jesus Christ, with luxurious and spending their fortunes in vain ": "Because we are not like many, peddling the word of God, but in Christ is that we speak before God with sincerity and part of God Himself." (2 Corinthians 2:17). It is a tremendous promise, but with a fundamental condition. Do not be afraid, nor be acovarde. Take the challenge, but do it in obedience, and it is God who guarantees success. And Joshua did all this. This disciple of Moses prayed and the sun and moon stood still for half a day. And the Bible says something tremendous and powerful: "There was no day like that before it or after it, and the Lord thus attended to the voice of a man: for the LORD fought for Israel." (Joshua 10:14). Blessed Be the Name of the Lord, because He will do wonders in your life. Just believe and obey the Word of God. The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with you all.
