THE STATE OF THE NATION As a certified Public Noise Maker I wish to give an End Year Summary of The State of the Nation thus; 1. Mumo Matemo ametema vita dhidi ya Ufisadi. 2. The year has ended without any substantive Development Agenda by the National Government.It has absolutely done nothing. 3. Civil Society Organizations have faced double tragedy through denied funds from abroad and subjugation at home and that has crippled Advocacy and Accountability programs. 4. The collectivity of the Independent Commissions like The commission for the Administration of Justice,CIC, KNCHR,etc as Watchdogs have all failed in their duties and left a rogue government to run roughshod over the citizenry. 5. The Media became a wife of the State and is today facing serious Domestic Violence that has supped all its energies needed for oversight. 6. Parliamentary committees like PAC and PIC that are meant to check on the Executive have done nothing on the reports of corruption and mismanagement of funds from the Auditor General. 7. The National Assembly led by Justin Muturi the Parochialist has terribly failed on the roles of Representation, Oversight and Legislation. 8. Courtesy of Age,Men In Black and the mishandling of Home coming,Saba Saba and Okoa Kenya, Raila Odinga has lost the moral authority and Political muscle needed to Mobilize Kenyans against Jubilee Dictatorship. 9. The likes of Kenneth, Karua, Dida, Muite, Mudavadi and Kiyiapi have failed to cobble up a third force to augment the onslaught of CORD on a government that is becoming too powerful. 10. Open discrimination by government on public appointments and tenders, divisive politics and a failed Cohesion and Integration Commision have collaborated to polarize the nation. Ukabila uko juu sana. 11. KDF has formed a pact with a faction of Al-Shabaab over charcoal business in somalia and are slowly abandoning their mission, the other faction of the Al-Shabaab are waging war against innocent Kenyans because of denied control over Somali Piracy and Charcoal business. 12. Clanism, Corruption and Mismanagement is strangling Devolution in the neck. In short, the life of ordinary Kenyans is going to be cruel, brutish and short. Because you have a Leviathan ( Sea Monster) as Government.
