THE Zambia Amateur Athletics Association has postponed the annual general meeting that was supposed to take place tomorrow following an injunction restraining the association from disqualifying Samuel Matete and four others from contesting the elections. In a statement released yesterday, ZAAA international relations and communications manager Davison Mung’ambata said in view of the injunction that also gave directives of which delegates should attend the AGM, the association had decided to postpone the AGM so as to notify the delegates of the meeting. “The order of injunction also gives guidance as to the delegates to the AGM as follows ‘that the delegates shall come from the clubs and area boards allocated ZAAA numbers by the general secretary on 31st December 2002 including Young Carol Mokola Club in accordance with the said Clubs and area boards’ list of 2014 membership’,” Mung’ambata said. - See more at: postzambia/news.php?id=4838#sthash.eX155pyj.dpuf
