Thank God things change. In the days of Jesus the main stream Church was everywhere steeped in traditions, and false teachings. They did not even recognize their Creator, who came in the flesh, and went so far as to condemn Him. Not like today when the main stream Church would have no problem recognizing the Creator and is uh…wait a minute! The Church is still steeped in traditions and false teachings and still do not recognize the Creator or understand how to read His Word. Not much has changed with the Church after all. But at least the tax collectors do not abuse their power like they did in the days of Jesus. No wait they are still doing that aren’t they? Well the good thing is we have a government of the people, for the people and by the people and not an empire like in the days of Jesus right? Wrong! The days of-of, for, and by the people-have long past and it does seems that the USA is becoming an empire much like the Roman Empire but with much more power and control over most of the planet. But of course this is different, because the old empires rose out of the seas of humanity destroying the preceding leaders and absorbing the cultures. Yes there is nothing wrong here, because this empire seems to have risen without destroying a preceding king and absorbing the culture. It is as if this empire is rising right out of the earth in a place the ancients would have considered unoccupied since the Native Americans did not have an Empire in the Roman sense. Does rising out of the earth sound familiar? “And I saw a beast rise up out of the earth. It had two horns like a lamb but spoke like the dragon”. ~Revelation 13:11~ Are we getting this? The sixth head of the seven-headed beast is rapidly healing before our very eyes and it is not the Pope, or Islam, or the United Nations or Russia or any of the other false beasts predicted by the false prophets. Can anyone say, “I live in the belly of the Beast”? I can! Yes, I know, the mockers will mock and the scoffers will scoff, but the remnant will accept the truth for the Spirit of Truth guides them. Lord, open the eyes of those who think they see but are, in fact, blind! Amen!
