The Topic of Discussion for the meetup (for May 3rd) is going to be around Getting Early Customers. We will keep the focus towards B2B Customers. Would love to segment the discussion, roughly around this way: 1. How do you identify your target demographic? 2. How to you validate your target demographic? 3. Do Surveys, Interviews, secondary research reflect true intentions? 4. How do you price the product? 5. What is a fair sales cycle? How do I know, if i am overshooting it? 6. Do deep discounts early on, validate or make my sale a false positive? 7. How do you graduate from (personal) references, to identifying channels and customer cohorts. 8. What should be in my pitch deck? Do I make ROI-based selling or value based selling? Or last case scenario, rely on emotional sale? 9. What level of handholding and customer support should I be expecting to offer? 10. What goes into selling effectively in India - do all large customers, expect face to face meets, and an on the feet, sales team? 5 - 10 mins. Keep Crisp notes if you can to share your view point, will discuss a bit and move to the next segment.
