The Truth or not the truth, or maybe a bit of both … Over the years Riverbenders have seen and heard many River Bend posts on several diverse subjects. While most posts appear to be well meaning, sincere and supported by their insider position, or occupation, it is often challenging to corroborate the information they bring without the cooperation on the Board. The whole area of evidence presents a problem to the unbiased Riverbender looking for reliable information. If they are interested, sympathetic or fanatical about wrongdoings, the information is usually easy to digest and accept, as it may support their own ideas of how River Bend works. If they are skeptical, it is even easier to deny and refute, as the obvious course is to class the information as attention seeking lies and wild conjecture that can’t be substantiated. How do we, the unbiased Riverbender observer assess and process details from a River Bend post and how far do we go in believing it and allowing it to modify our beliefs and attitudes? The concept of ‘finding the truth’ is a rat’s nest of complexity without the cooperation of the Board. There is a further problem of disinformation and misinformation. Put simply this is information passed on by a Riverbender who knowingly or unknowingly is propagating false or modified accounts in order to bring confusion or contradiction to the River Bend community. It is not hard to see how ego and self-promotion can fuel an individual to provide exaggerated or over stated accounts. Some posters appear to have a privileged position of having insight into covert areas of activity. Given the fact that they want to talk about this gives the impression of an altruistic and humanitarian person that should be believed. Just because an individual can be historically traced to having a privileged position to ‘know about something secret’ does not mean the information they reveal is honest complete and in the benevolent interest of Riverbenders. Saying that, without the cooperation of the Board … over stated accounts THRIVE! We need the cooperation of the Board here on this site getting one thousand PLUS views a day … NOT on an “official” message board getting twelve views a day. Covert and black board projects also use a tactic of segregation and compartmentalization to isolate members so that the work of certain “board advisers” is disassociated from the deeper operation. If you are simply crunching numbers that don’t relate to anything, it’s hard to understand their relevance or meaning. Clearly, the reasons add up; if too many people ‘join the dots’ by amalgamating information, a clearer picture is gained that can reveal a much deeper level of knowledge that leads to the downfall of the boards “privileged information”. The big question for the ‘truth seeker’ is what is reliable evidence and what is disinformation? Cooperation of the board HERE ON THIS SITE would certainly help Riverbenders … What do you think?
