The best thing about the music coming out of the UK in the early 80s was the power of the arrangements and the amazing payoff of the vocals on all the choruses. Great harmonies and well crafted productions made listening such a wonderful experience to experience. Even the arguments were not standardized and were full of surprises breaks and accapella sections that got you going and really pushed the boundaries of what we had experienced up that that point in time. One of the best of the bunch when it came to arrangements, vocals and sheer creativity was this amazing singer and keyboardist who was well ahead of his time and just right for what the public wanted to hear.
