The following is an interesting account of the bull fights of Nawaz Shareef (NS): Sr. #: Took on by NS/Purpose/Result: 1. ex-PM Junejo / to replace him as the PML head / NS won, 2. President Ghulam Ishak Khan-benefactor / power politics / both lost, 3. Benazir and Zardari / power politics / both lost eventually, 4. CJ Sajjad Ali Shah / to have control over judiciary / NS won, 5. President Farooq Lagahari-benefactor / to have control over judiciary / NS won 6. Army chief Jehangir Keramat / arrogance of power / NS won, 7. Army chief Musharraf / mutual mistrust / NS lost heavily, 8. PAT head Dr Qadri / arrogance of power / in progress ... I have not included Imran in the above list as it is the list of people whom NS challenged and took on. Imran Khan has the distinction of being the only one who challenged and took on NS, Suo motto!! The country needed the emergence of someone like Imran Khan to deliver a knock out punch to NS. IK has kept it very simple, speaking the truth about NS without any fear. - cometh the hour cometh the man!!
