The government of Australia fails to represent the people of Australia because of one simple reason; the people in government cannot speak or act on behalf of several million people. It is a physical impossibility. While the people in government may claim to represent Australians, they do not. They cannot. Our government is a bloated carcass, a relic of an age where we had cultural homogeneity and where our leaders had a much smaller population to represent. Such specifics are of course a mere distraction from the crucial truth: you cannot speak or act on behalf of another person without their consent, and due to this simple truth, the Australian government cannot possibly represent the Australian people fairly. Sure, it may be able to represent a portion of the Australian people. But what about the ones who it doesnt represent? This is something the political left *should* be acutely aware of with their outcry over the appointment of Tony Abbott to the position of Prime Minister. But alas, rather than trying to understand how it feels to live under a government they hate, they simply cry and scream and wait for their next opportunity to force us all to live under their system. If it makes these pinkos feel any better, Im no big fan of the LNP either (although the reasons why would make them squeal!). But heres the thing; our forefathers believed that their government would withstand the test of time, they believed that their culture would be preserved, and it hasnt. Not only has our government degenerated into what is arguably a tyranny, but our culture has degenerated into a mewling entitled horde of intellectual-children, who are only too happy to be slaves as long as they dont need to see the shackles - who are only too happy to make you into a slave as long as they believe it is in your best interests. And now here we are, living in a system where half the country takes turns blaming things on the fact that they lost a vote, and the other half blames the former half for their turn on top. We cant keep living like this. They say Israel and Palestine need a two state solution - rather than worry about a bunch of genocidal dickheads who have been killing each other since the dawn of time and will continue to kill each other until the end of time, why dont we adopt that same solution? Give half the country to the progressive lefties and the other half to the conservative right. Hell, go one step better and make it a 200-state solution, that way libertarians like me can live in a place where we dont need to be reminded every single day that government exists. Let the communists have their little communist countries and watch as communism does what it always does best and turns to crap! I dont care how you want to live as long as you dont force me to live that way. Please extend me the same courtesy, create micro-nations, encourage separatist movements, and vote libertarian. Its easy to say live and let live - but do you have the stones to follow through with that motto?
