There are multiple ways to get paid on a syndicated deal. Heres one Im looking at today. 2% at closing to the syndicator, 2% to the broker, 5% property management fee (these guys own the prop mgmt firm too), .25% to the syndication manager, 10% to manage the rehab, and 2% for investor reporting (this is a new one!). People always ask me how I get paid before, during and after putting a group investment together and this is how. Interested in learning how to structure deals like this?
