There are places you can still catch my music playing on the radio, but what does that really mean? I worked so hard at it when I moved to Nashville and I wanted it so bad, but music became my idol and I forgot who gave me the gift of music. Its not all about me or you for the matter of fact. Life is much bigger and there is a greater purpose for all of us. I had to lose myself to find out who I really am, what Im made of and what I really want out of life. Through my struggle I got to help a friend this week, so she wouldnt make the same music industry mistakes as me. Im sure Ill make many more, but I have come a long way. It was painful to talk about my past, but I am thankful. I am making my way towards the life I have always wanted, making small sacrifices, continually working on my perspective, challenging myself, educating myself further and getting involved in the world. Where exactly my journey will take me, only God knows. Music will always be a huge part of my life and career, dont you worry Ill always make music as long as I can, but theres much more to me. Thank God for unanswered prayers!
