Thirty five years ago today, in my city, there was a tragic loss....this man, Harvey Milk and our mayor, George Moscone, were murdered by a jealous, self-rightous, bigoted man named Dan White. The legacy of what came to be known as The Twinkie Defense couldnt stop the wheels from moving forward, Mr. White. Thank you SF Supervisor Milk and Mayor Moscone, for your legacy of truth and freedom. The city is better because of you both.
