This is the closest Ive ever come to finding a resemblance to something that has haunted me most of my life. Weve only scratched the surface of this weird world. There is so much we know. Everything supernatural and paranormal thats been reported over the reign of the human race cannot all be rubbish. The odds are against it. Theres just too much evidence. I may never know for sure exactly what it was I saw, but it sparked an interest inside me to want to know. Well Im 45 now. And back when I was three maybe four years old I was pretty rambunctious. I remember looking out the window on a sunny day. My mama had just threatened to put me outside with my dad who was working on the car. When I jumped up on the couch and leaned forward toward the screen window, I was face-to-face with something peeking in. Its face resembled a cross between a man and a gorilla. The hair was white and the skin was Caucasian. Other than the gnarled crooked teeth with pronounced canines and the upturned nostrils, it couldve been a man. The eyes however... The eyes looked from the left to the right and back and then straight at me. We both made a surprising huhh sound and it moved away from the screen window. Thats the only sound it made. I always thought it was watching my mother. When I told her about it, she just rolled her eyes and laughed. She said, You need to go on outside with your dad. I started crying loudly. Daddy walked in wanting to know what was going on. I yelled at him and asked him where was his monkey mask... They both looked at me like I was crazy. I learned right then to be careful what I said. I never did see it again. I asked my mom about it years later. She says she couldnt recall a thing. She asked me how come I could remember back that far... I guess when it comes down to it you can have a memory imprinted on you very easily if it scares you enough. Most of my life Ive been consumed with science-fiction and fantasy. But also Ive been waiting and hoping someone would find something somewhere. Anything. Just so I wouldnt always wonder Was it all just a dream? Wow… Ive never even spoken with anyone else about it all these years. Probably just a vivid childs imagination. But I have never felt the same since that day. Knowing... Believing something else is out there and we cant find it... its a little unsettling. Anyone else care to come forward?
