This is why its so hard to hate a good Greek. From anciet times we are programmed well for life and its many challenges. I have often wondered how my parents did right in so many ways that gave me particular edges in life. Its not like they are perfect, nor am I. But, the purity of filotimo, by example and teaching, is the perfect gift a parent can give a child. Now you Non-Greeks can understand what makes us Greeks somethin extra special ;)
