This past weekend one of our Team Members had a chance to do her last Nordic Mission of the year. This year has been very busy for Spots taking in Nordic dogs. As it is a HUGE part of our mandate, Keri a founding member of Spots has had the very fortunate opportunity to help Forever Homes Rescue and Sarah on many of her missions. This past mission was to Lac Simon where they say the dogs out number the humans 2 to 1. While this mission was not in conjunction with a sterilization clinic (as many are, and that is the end and ideal goal), there was still over 65 dogs extracted from the community. Many who would not have made it through the winter. Spots is always looking for fosters to help take on these dogs, as the demand is HUGE. We are also always looking for adopters for these loves. As we are low on foster homes at the moment we were able to bring in just a few from this trip so far, including Phoenix the terrier, golden, doxie mix! 2-7 week old pups, Bonnie and Clyde, and a sweet girl named May.
