This sort of thing absolutely disgusts me, and it is a blatant abuse of the legal system. Worse is that its not an isolated case. Some years back a wheelchair bound man went out (*WAY* out) of his way to target businesses here in San Francisco for such violations. Instead of being reasonable about accommodations, he would sue. He shut down a locally owned business that had been there since my ex-wife was a little girl, and probably a lot longer. It was a neighbourhood icon that was closed down because he decided to be a prick.
