Thunderbird Mens Basketball Player Earns Player of the Week Honors Freshman guard Keshan Spears (Navajo) from Phoenix, AZ continued his outstanding play this weekend and has been named the Mon-Dak Conference Player of the Week. In two games last week he scored 62 points, had 14 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals and blocked one shot. Spears is currently 5th overall in NJCAA D2 basketball scoring, averaging just over 28 points per game. As a team, the T-Birds lead the nation in scoring at 119 points per game. Congratulations to Keshan on being named Player of the Week.
