To say that God would send an angel to bring to you the answer to your prayer is synonymous to say that God is unable to respond directly to Christ when you pray IN THE NAME OF JESUS. It is true that this was a fact before the setting in force of the New Covenant in Christ, but it cannot apply today in the life of the believer, just like many things in the Old Testament CANNOT apply to the life of the born again believer. Because praying in the name of Jesus is an identificational prayer, a response to your prayer is a response to Christ. To say that God would still use an angel today to respond to your prayer is to decrease Christ before the eyes of the Father and elevate an angel before His only begotten Son.
