To those who watched the Grand Rally for the College of Teacher Education - Educators club, this post is pretty much FAMILIAR in some sense. This was supposedly my question but due to time constraint which I very much understand, I have to pave way for better time management BUT nevertheless, I would like to share this question to my co-educators whose role in the society is very much vital and SENSITIVE. Something occurred in the Grand Rally that ALARMS me, a 4th year BSEd-ENGLISH who already tasted the introduction of teaching; both its PLEASURE and PAIN. This is a question raised not because I am a PROUD REPUBLICAN, but this is a question raised because I am a CONCERNED EDUCATOR. This question goes to both running candidates for Governor position. Ian Christian Paler Cosido and Eden Grace Lopez Question: As an EDUCATOR with the values, skills, professionalism, and competencies of a 21st century teacher, do you agree when I say Teachers SHOULD BE a role model to his/her class especially in values clarification.? This question is answerable by a YES or a NO ONLY. Are YOU aware of the Theory of Behaviorism? YES or NO. Follow-up question: Is it right as an EFFECTIVE TEACHER to snatch a pen of a student just because the time is up during a quiz or an examination? OR is it right for a TEACHER to snob at a student just because the students answer doesnt satisfy MUCH the question raised by the TEACHER? Again, answerable by a YES or a NO ONLY. Please enlighten us the answer you are referring to when you said KABAW NAMU SA TUBAG.. Now. What should be our answer then? I would respectfully understand if none in both parties would answer my floating query since I am not a member of COMELEC and that you dont even owe me anything BUT remember, IF you cant even cater this post or this question given by ONLY ONE PERSON, how much more the entire COLLEGE OF TEACHER EDUCATION. PS: Careful with your words. They might assassinate your ACTS. :)
