Todays foray into painting on the contract art piece was...challenging. I am trying hard to create a positive story out of today, but I actually encountered some classic discouragement. Fortunately, I can recognize that feeling and just label it what it is, knowing that its my mind wanting to cry and give up on something at which it feels like I might fail. The upside is that paint is starting to cover the blank areas, and that I am a master in Photoshop and will be able to fix a multitude of flaws in post-processing. Its going to turn out just fine, Bev! (Why am I not doing the whole thing in Photoshop? I havent yet made the leap to declare my RSI over, use my right hand to mouse, and re-invest in a tablet).
