Tonight, we want to thank everyone who came out to assist us with health certificates to get 67 dogs on 2 different buses out of the Upper Cumberland! Our life saving partners, Wags and Whiskers ~ Spay / Neuter Advocates, our INCREDIBLE Veterinarian, Dr. Lisa Jividen with Plateau Animal Hospital - you guys are incredible!!! Along with all of the dedicated AARF volunteers and shelter staff who make these transports happen week after week - who work around the clock to save these lives! We are BLESSED with the ability to move as many dogs as we do - and to all of our donors - we could not run these transports without you!!! The average cost of a transport is around $400 - just for fuel!! Every dollar received helps keep this Freedom Ride program rolling. THANK YOU! aarf-tn
