UGANDA VS TOGO: FUFA, Police assure fans of maximum security AFCON 2015 QUALIFIER: Uganda VS Togo Saturday, 12th October 2014 Uganda Vs Togo Entry Fees: 20,000/= (Ordinary), 50,000 (VIP) and 120,000/= (VVIP) Uganda Cranes fans coming to watch the their team take on Togo in their third Group E encounter have been assured of maximum security both in and outside Namboole stadium and even on their way home after the game. “I am here to give you assurance that starting from internal public management to external security all will be up to standard as in accordance with FIFA requirements of hosting international games. There have always been cases of robbers and petty thieves snatching property from fans on their way back from Namboole but this won’t be the case this time round because all roads and highways are going to be heavily manned to ensure maximum security.” Kaweesi assured. He further advised the fans against moving with heavy and unacceptable sharp objects like knives, bottles big drums that could easily be used to harm others. Access control check points will be very strict to ensure that they don’t take any security risks inside the stadium. FUFA president Moses Magogo advised the fans against using the Cranes game tomorrow to promote Partisan, religious, gender, ethnic interests something that contradicts FIFA statutes No. 3 and FIFA statutes No. 4. “Everybody is excited about tomorrow’s game and the preparations are going on very well technically. Everything is going on smoothly in accordance to the planned strategies. Our humble appeal to the fans is that after every game a report by the match commissar is sent to FIFA and they are aware of what has happened at the previous games. Football is a game meant for entertainment and promotion of unity so our fans should not come not dressed in any form of partisan dressing. We have sought the government help on this and they are cooperating.” Magogo advised. It was also revealed that the Cranes after the Saturday game will be flying out on Sunday evening to go to Togo for the return leg fixture on Wednesday.
