Update......Sober 30 years. No cigarettes since 1988. No cigars for over 3 years. Now my concentration is on eating healthy. When I retired from football I was 220 lbs. Thats was 32 years ago. I actually gained 3 lbs a year for 32 years. My weight got as high as 310 lbs. Just eating and snacking on shit food. Traditional foods like dumplings,chitterlings,turkey and dressing, bread and lots of butter, oreo cookies, graham crackers, saltine crackers,fritos,cheetos,chips and salsa,a thousand snickers bars and other chocolates. Fried chicken and fish. French fries and cruising drive throughs. Wendys triple meat cheese burgers with fries and a large coke. Burger king and the rest. Malts and ice-cream . Sound familiar?????????? Cornbread........to date I havent had none of the above and I havent died or done without. Sausage and eggs for breakfast today. Spinach salad with salmon for lunch and tonight I think fish again. Im snacking on unsalted nuts. If I have to open or unwrap it I aint gonna eat it. Apples, Bananas and lots of water are serving me well. Processed food is DOPE. I got a new rule as a college graduate.....If I read the ingredients of a food in a package or box and dont understand a stated ingredient or need a dictionary to comprehend it...I DONT EAT IT. They are killing us. Diabetes and heart disease are contributing to our demise. Do yourself a favor. EAT BETTER AND PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR WEIGHT. OH YEA, WALIKING IS GOOD TOO.
