Walmart is majority-owned by the Walton family. Sears is solely publicly owned. Walmart does the legally minimal requirement for employees that are called to serve in the armed forces: they hold your job for 6 months. Sears holds employees jobs for AS LONG AS they are deployed AND pays full health benefits for families of those deployed during that deployment. So why are you shopping at a store whose insanely wealthy owners despise our troops [many of whose families are on food stamps due to Walmarts minimum wages], when you could be spending your money wisely at an American company that honors and supports our troops and their families?
