We are very excited to invite you to compete at the largest and most prestigious Cheer & Dance Championship in Australia; the 2014 Australian All Star Cheer & Dance Championship from the 28th -31st November at Queensland’s the Gold Coast Convention Centre. Last year we had near on 32,000 athletes compete in our competition seasons championships, and we are excited to see what 2014 brings. Every year AASCF Nationals is known as “the event” to compete with its combination of World Class production values, expert and impartial judging from, 12 Worlds judges and the one true opportunity for teams to test their skills against the best teams in their level and age group in Australia. Every year the AASCF Nationals event grows in stature and size as at AASCF Nationals in 2012 we had the honour of hosting 450+ teams comprising 4800+competitors and in 2013 we had 6000 competitors, and this year 2014 we now estimate 7000+ representing 700+ teams so please don’t leave your entries to the last minute as each year we have had to turn down late entries. Many neighbouring international teams from New Zealand and Asia want to compete at our Nationals, as such we will be adding the below to Nationals: • All sections at Nationals that have International teams present will have 2 different results: i. The Overall winners of the section ii. The National winners of the section Finally, please note these adds to Nationals: • Any section in the All Star Dance divisions that have 16 or more teams will become a Heat, and then the top 8 teams placing in this division will then go again onto Day 2 or the end of their day for Finals. • IASF Dance Worlds bids sections will compete both days, heats finals – to emulate Worlds • The Level 5 and 6 cheer teams will compete both days – also assisting the teams going for a Worlds Bid. • All Dance Doubles and Group & Partner Stunt must be your State qualifier to compete. These sections may be entered after you have qualified. • There will be a party at Dream World on the Sunday night, and a coach’s conference and athlete’s clinic with all of the USA presenters all day Monday. Neither of these activities is compulsory, just optional.
