We just finished Faces in the Crowd, a suspense piece about a woman with prosopagnosia, an inability to recognize faces. What lifts this out of the average thriller bin is the point-of-view technique: to give the viewer a sense of what the lead character is experiencing, with faces changing every time she looks away, a different actor is substituted in the scene. Watching it, you become disoriented along with the character. Very stylish. Milla Jovovich. Julian McMahon. A minimum of gore.
