We just read this comment from one of our posts below, and its too fabulous to let go unnoticed. Thanks so much, Kaye Cooper! Kaye Cooper: The Main Man and I are the proud owners of SPIN 105. We first saw a Spinifex caravan at the Brisbane Caravan and Camping Show in 2012. We were there looking especially at Kedrons and Bushtrackers - which I found a bit industrial and short on bling for my taste. I knew The Main Man was impressed when he was crawling around on the ground underneath the display Spinifex and he started muttering unintelligible drivel about the suspension. We did not speak to anyone that day - everyone on the stand was so busy - but we did grab some brochures. Then in late 2012 we turned up at the factory unannounced on a Saturday afternoon. Dion and a couple of the guys were enjoying a beverage after lunch before going home. That was the real start of our Spinifex experience. An hour and a half later, after we had looked at every van in all different stages of production through the eyes of a guy who was passionate about his product, we told Dion we would be back. In April 2013 we took delivery of SPIN 105. At the start of the design process I warned Mathias that I was a bit particular and that, by the time we took delivery of SPIN 105 we would either be best friends, or he would not be able to stand the sight of me. We added things, and we changed things during the production process, we specified product brands and we played around with the clean lines of Mathias kitchen design - but nothing was too much trouble, nothing was too late to change, and I would like to think that we stayed friends. SPIN 105 visited the factory in August 2014 to have a check up and have more toys added. Then we took it out west and got it dirty. To Dion, Mathias, Gloria and Steve, thank you for looking after us so well - then and now. We hope that you enjoy continued success - you certainly deserve to.
