Well, I am on my soapbox. I was just doing a little research on entitlements today. First I was getting a little aggravated when I saw that the original definition of “entitlements” was changed to not just to define the welfare system, but added Social Security, Medicare, VA programs et al to the definition. This is crap. There are a lot of us that paid into the system, while paying big school taxes and paying mucho taxes everywhere else. Don’t get me wrong, any tax that benefitted schools I was for and I have no kids. The fix – since the Social Security is loaded/drained with IOUs to the government. We need to demand that those IOUs are paid back. I am not talking about additional taxes, just adjust some spending. My target is Welfare. What is wrong with utilizing maximum housing availability (bunk beds, one TV, one cell phone and no cable to 12 people). No food stamps – set up a way where nutritional meals are delivered and food stamps are not traded for liquor or cigarettes. Start the program with videos from across the world where the poor get no help and live in tin sheds and would eat the neighborhood dog if he had any meat on him. Basically, I am saying don’t birch at me about entitlements, go where the money is,
