Well its official... Kylie and Maes bone marrow came back NED (no evidence of disease)!!!!!!!!! They dont say cancer free or in remission until youre 5 years clean because the relapse rate is so high, but NED is what these kiddos strive everyday for! They dont see one trace of cancer in their little bodies! I cant even believe Im saying that! A month and a half ago they were talking to us about stoping treatment and just letting Kylie go and today she is thriving!! God is so incredible! Kylie is one of His miracles! When she got sick it was like she went from toddler back to baby.. She stopped eating, stopped walking, lost her hair...and now she gets to start living again! Whoa, her hair! Its going to start growing!!! That just seems crazy! No more toxic chemo! Hallelujah!! We are so overly joyed to closed this chapter in our book. It has been such a tough road for us. Until now... It was bad news after bad news... The odds stacking against us even more everyday, but we never gave up! We still have a long road ahead of us of rehab therapies for her back and getting her to eat again and in a few weeks Kylie will begin her VIP treatment. Once Kylie gets rid of the VIP she can continue on with her immunotherapy and radiation. Its so hard to think that in just a few months we could be finally walking out of these hospital walls... Into reality. What is reality these day? Its terrifying! Being in the hospital is all we know! I know that if we would have stayed in San Diego Kylie would not be here with us today. I want to not only thank you all for the endless amount of prayer and support, but also for the monetary donations. If it werent for those donations we would not have been able to get Kylie to New York. When cancer hits your family.. Your world stops, but not the world around us. There are still bills that need to be paid ON TOP of the new piling of medical bills. So from our entire family Thank You! Its so hard to express how thankful we truly are and we hope you can feel the love we wish we could show to you in person. You have allowed me to suffer much hardship, but You will restore me to life again and lift me up from the depths of the earth. Psalms 71:20
