Went back to the dentist today (2 different appointments). The first was a crown prep on the other tooth the dentist from lifetime dentistry in Muscatine filled. (She filled 2 teeth on Oct 31st the first has already had a root canal and crown and now this one needs a crown because of several tiny fractures at the edge of the filling). Went home to hang out with Wyatt between appointments since he has Strep and then he went back to grandmas while I went back to the dentist this afternoon to have the other 2 fillings completed that the Muscatine dentist said I needed. Only, when I went back I said the one from this morning still hurts so after more poking and prodding and an additional X-ray a horizontal crack was found. The current dentist has only been exposed to these types of cracks in dental school because they are so extremely rare. So now Im waiting on a consult from an endodontist on what to even do with that tooth---try to fix it or pull it and put in a fake tooth. The bottom fillings needed 2 additional novacaine shots so my lower half of my entire face is basically numb and has been since 3:30ish!!! So in total 5 novacaine shots today and my hope of finally not having tooth pain since Oct 31st 2014 has been post-poned again! :-/. Plus my flexible spending accounts tapped out! Ive never really had any problems with my teeth until I visited the Dentist in Muscatine in October! Finally, on top of all of that, Kenny found out today the day off he was supposed to get tomorrow isnt happening now and he potentially wont get a day off til next Monday or Tuesday. If that happens he will have worked basically 3 weeks straight with almost all shifts having been 12 hours long without a day off! Its just a little stressful around our house right now! :-/
