We’re looking to expand the BRHA team. We have open slots for an Assistant Intake Coordinator and Assistant Medical Coordinator. Each position already has a person in charge of them, but we have an increased need and are looking to expand the team. The basic description of each position is below. Like all of the BHRA admin team positions, these are both volunteer positions without pay, but with great rewards in helping the dogs. We do have periodic meetings in which it is important that the whole team attend if possible. Assistant Intake Coordinator: • Receive emails pertaining to available dogs and reply in a timely fashion • Initiate process of bringing dog into system • Coordinate with Medical, Transport, & Foster coordinators to determine available space for potential intakes • Ability to periodically make phone calls, send/receive emails during the day • Routinely check email, text, phone messages in the evenings and weekends Assistant Medical Coordinator: • Vet dogs who have been brought in • Maintain medical records • Foster/build relationships with various vet offices • Maintain record of dogs who have received their medical treatments • Ability to periodically make phone calls, send/receive emails during the day • Routinely check email, text, phone messages in the evenings and weekends
