What about the chidren left at the border? Their own country should find the parents of this miss given children and prosecute them for child abandonment. On the American side when cataloging these children and recording the parents information we should simultaneously registering the entire family as being blocked from ever entering the United States. Furthermore our government should locate any of their relatives currently here in the United States an revoke their rights deporting them along with the abandoned child back to their country of origint. Then bar them from ever entering the USA again. For children who cannot be identified the government should establish a monetary value that the child would be in debited for upon its 21 birthday with a choice of either paying up, or returning to their country of origint never to enter the USA again. How is it even possible that its so lax at the border that people can drop off bus loads of children on the American side? And since its up to Mexico to monitor thier side of the border why arent they being held accountable in so form or fahion, for the care of these abandoned children? Instead of our troops being overseas attempting to create peace in a country that doesnt want peace, they should be here in the United States guarding and protecting our borders from illegal entry. I think no other country would put up with, or allow such a situation. Its other countries would even go to war with the country that would leave their children on their border. Its not the childrens fault for coming here ilegaly and once here no harm should come to that child. However its important the US government react quickly by developing and implementing strong guidelines that clearly establishes to these countries and their citizens that they will not get away with such actions without serious and everlasting consequences. Including closing the border, closing all travel in around the country that the children came from. The United States has allowed its self to become so dependent on international commerce and travel, it seems no longer an option to revoke and/or deny all requset for entry, shutdown travel or place a hold on ecom as a tool. Between the threat of international terrorism and the abandment of children the border it might be a good time to halt all International travel and close the countries borders.
