When ask why we have our “Thirst-day Prayer” so early on Thursdays (6:00 AM)? My reply is what better way to begin my day in the presence of the Lord, to seek his guidance, direction, and succor before the noise and busyness of the day. I enjoy the quiet presence of God. The early morning allows me to meditate on His Word, to think on His goodness, and to offer thanksgiving (without asking anything from Him). I am refreshed, renewed, and rejuvenated—ready to face the tasks and challenges of my day.
