When people ask, "where were you when this horrible act happened" - TopicsExpress

When people ask, "where were you when this horrible act happened" I can always tell them. When things are at there worst you always remember who you were with and what you were doing. I remember Jan in the corner at her desk holding her head, I remember Fred shaking his head in disbelief, I remember the faces but not so much the names of newsroom people saying " how could this happen" and others standing around. Me asking" what dumbass from New York is that drunk" And all the while having this feeling of "I thought this only happened in third world countries" it goes to show you that tomorrow is never promised, so be with the ones you love or even like as many times a day or week that you can. Everytime I even look at a digital clock and it reads 9:11 I think of who I was with and what I was doing. I also think that I am very hard headed and stubborn. Especially when it comes to making sure that I speak how I feel to the family and friends that mean the most to me! Sometimes you just want all walls to crumble and everybody in the world to have peace and tranquility with one another. Yes I have rambled and probably spelled words wrong, but on this particular 9-11 this is how I am feeling. And please lord have mercy on the folks that lost there lives and loved ones on that horrible day! Try to always remember where you were as rememberance to those who fell on that day! Peace on earth to you all!
